After nearly a decade away from the album spotlight, Robyn is officially back. The Swedish Pop icon has announced her long-awaited ninth studio album, ‘Sexistential,’ marking her first full-length release in eight years.
Set to arrive on March 27, the project is being introduced with two new tracks. ‘Talk to Me,’ co-written with hitmaker Max Martin, arrives alongside a sleek music video, while the title track leans into bold, deeply personal territory with a lyric-driven visual. Together, they signal a return to the instinctive pop songwriting that defined her ‘Body Talk’ era.

Speaking about the album’s title and themes, the 46-year-old artist described ‘Sexistential’ as an exploration of sensuality, creativity, and emotional curiosity, framing desire as a life force rather than something strictly physical. She has cited inspiration ranging from vulnerability to the fearless self-expression once embodied by Prince.
The album follows 2018’s ‘Honey’ and features nine tracks, including previously debuted fan favorite ‘Dopamine,’ which she premiered live on New Year’s Eve.
