Lana Del Rey just dropped her favorite track from the long-awaited country era.
The singer released ‘White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter’ Thursday, the third single from her upcoming album ‘Stove.’ The song was written in collaboration with her husband Jeremy Dufrene, her sister Chuck Grant, and her brother-in-law Jason Pickens, and was produced by herself and frequent collaborator Jack Antonoff. A self-shot music video for the track is scheduled to drop today at 8 PM.
Del Rey announced the single last week on Instagram, calling it her “favourite” and “the one she’s been waiting for.” It follows her 2025 singles ‘Henry come on’ and ‘Bluebird.’
As for the album itself, she said ‘Stove’ should arrive “soon,” noting vinyl production takes about three months. The project has gone through multiple iterations, originally titled ‘Lasso’ and scheduled for September 2024, then renamed ‘The Right Person Will Stay’ with a May 2025 date, before being pushed back again and renamed ‘Stove.’
