The wait is finally over. BLACKPINK are back together and making noise with the release of their new mini album ‘Deadline’ — their first full-group project in over three years.
Unlocked today, ‘Deadline’ picks up where the p-Pop powerhouse left off after ‘Born Pink’ in 2022 — and then some. The five-track set pulls from EDM, Pop, and Hip-Hop, anchored by lead single ‘GO,’ a chant-heavy banger that Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa all had a hand in writing themselves.
The project had already been teased via pre-release cut ‘JUMP’, which arrived last summer and gave fans a taste of the high-energy direction the quartet was heading in. Rounding out the tracklist are ‘Champion,’ ‘Me and My,’ and the boldly-titled ‘Fxxxboy’ — each highlighting a different side of the group’s range and confidence heading into this new era.
