Eclectic Pop force Robyn is hitting the road for her biggest tour in years.
The Swedish superstar just announced The Sexistential Tour, a massive 20-date arena run spanning Europe, North America, and Australia. It’s her first major tour since 2019 and will feature her largest headline shows to date, including a stop at London’s 20,000-capacity O2 Arena and three consecutive hometown nights at Stockholm’s Avicii Arena.
Fans can sign up for presale access here by Wednesday, February 11 at 10 AM local time (9 AM local in Australia). General sale kicks off Friday, February 13.
The tour boasts an exciting lineup of special guests across various markets, including Erika de Casier (Dublin, Paris), Romy (Copenhagen, Oslo, New York), Peaches (Chicago), Lykke Li (Mexico City), and horsegiirL (Los Angeles), among others. Each opener represents boundary-pushing artists who are both friends and inspirations to the 46-year-old.
The announcement arrives as she gears up to drop her ninth studio album ‘Sexistential’ on March 27, her first full-length since 2018’s ‘Honey.’ Produced with longtime collaborator Klas Åhlund and reuniting her with Max Martin for their first co-writes since 2010, it’s being billed as her most ecstatic record yet.
She’s been building major buzz with recent appearances, from performing with David Byrne at ‘Saturday Night Live’s’ 50th anniversary to delivering a standout set on ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.’ She’s also collaborated with Charli xcx and Yung Lean on a version of ‘Brat’s’ ‘360’ and was recently announced as support for Harry Styles‘ eight stadium shows in Amsterdam.
