Megan Moroney just gave fans an early Valentine’s gift.
The multi-platinum singer-songwriter dropped the title track from her highly anticipated third album ‘Cloud 9,’ due out February 20 via Sony Music Nashville/Columbia Records.
She surprised fans with the announcement earlier this week and promptly sent social media into a frenzy.
The stirring love song serves as a gorgeous launch of the LP’s release month.
The drop arrives a week after the 27-year-old earned Country Artist-Songwriter of the Year honors at Billboard and the National Music Publishers Association’s annual Songwriter Awards event in Los Angeles, held during Grammy Week. Written by Moroney alongside Luke Laird, Jessie Jo Dillon, and Ernest Keith Smith, ‘Cloud 9’ captures the bliss of being so caught up in love that life’s little annoyances lose their power.
‘Cloud 9’ is the fourth preview from the album, following recent single ‘Wish I Didn’t,’ which premiered with a Mr. & Mrs. Smith-inspired video co-starring Dylan Efron.
The 15-track LP also includes her gold-certified Country radio number one smash ‘6 Months Later’ and Billboard Hot 100-charting hit ‘Beautiful Things.’ It follows her Gold-certified 2024 sophomore album ‘Am I Okay?’
Exciting times!
