Bruno Mars has officially sent fans into meltdown mode with just four words.
Taking to X, the GRAMMY-winning superstar confirmed, “My album is done,” marking a major milestone in what has been a long wait for a new solo project.
My album is done.
— Bruno Mars (@BrunoMars) January 5, 2026
The forthcoming release will be his first standalone studio album since ‘24K Magic’ landed in 2016.
While details like a title or release date remain tightly under wraps, the announcement alone was enough to excite online.
It also signals a true return to center stage after years of high-profile collaborations, including Silk Sonic with Anderson .Paak, as well as recent duets with Lady Gaga and BLACKPINK’s Rosé.
The upcoming album is expected to arrive in 2026, ending nearly a decade-long drought between solo releases.
We can’t wait for Mars’ new musical orbit. And it doesn’t look like we’ll have to wait for too long!
