Sia has turned her blockbuster songbook into a blockbuster payday.
The Australian Pop star has reportedly sold a 50% stake in her music catalog to entertainment investment company Pophouse for a whopping $180 million.
According to TMZ, which obtained documents detailing the transaction, $165 million of the deal relates to material Sia created before her marriage to Dan Bernad. That portion includes rights connected to major hits such as ‘Chandelier,’ ‘Titanium,’ and ‘Cheap Thrills.’
The sale effectively places a $360 million valuation on the full catalog if the reported 50% stake and price are taken at face value.
There is, however, an added wrinkle courtesy of the singer’s ongoing divorce.
Bernad has reportedly agreed to waive claims to the $165 million portion in exchange for a $1 million payment. A further $15 million tied to songs created during their marriage is set to remain in escrow while the former couple determines how it will be divided.
For Pophouse, the deal adds another heavyweight name to a music portfolio that already includes catalog interests connected to Avicii, Tina Turner, Iron Maiden, Swedish House Mafia, Cyndi Lauper and KISS.
Sia and Bernad married in 2022 before the singer filed for divorce in March 2025.
