Bravo‘s newest franchise is about to prove that big drama doesn’t need a big state.
The‘Real Housewives of Rhode Island’ just dropped its first official trailer, and it’s serving up tears, explosive screaming matches, and some seriously damning rumors. The network also confirmed the premiere date: Thursday, April 2 at 9 PM ET/PT on Bravo.
After the debut, the show will shift to its regular Sunday 9 PM slot starting April 5, with episodes hitting Peacock the next day.
The cast includes Alicia Carmody, Rosie DiMare, Ashley Iaconetti, Liz McGraw, Rulla Nehme Pontarelli, Kelsey Swanson, and Jo-Ellen Tiberi, all of whom were unveiled at BravoCon 2025 last November. ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ fan favorite Dolores Catania is also joining as a friend.
According to the official release, the season will navigate “the murky waters of friendships, feuds, and shifting loyalties within Rhode Island’s tightly woven social scene.”
Translation: everyone knows everyone, family names matter, and secrets don’t stay buried for long. The ladies will spend time at historic Newport mansion Seaview Terrace for a Gilded Age-inspired weekend and later hit Block Island for a sun-soaked trip that apparently pushes two couples to a breaking point.
The trailer wastes no time diving into the messiest storylines. Rulla becomes the center of affair rumors when someone in a voiceover notes, “There are echoes of Rulla’s husband having an affair.” Jo-Ellen doesn’t mince words, telling her directly, “I want you to know that it’s happening currently.” When Rulla later insists someone is being “petty” by spreading lies about her husband, Liz quietly interjects with, “But he is, ma. But he is.”
Kelsey, meanwhile, finds herself in separate blowouts with both Jo-Ellen and Rosie. After Kelsey brings up that Jo-Ellen “had sex with [her] ex,” a fired-up Jo-Ellen fires back with a warning:
“You f–k with my husband, with my kids, with my job, I’m gonna ruin your f–kin’ life.”
Things get equally heated with Rosie, who accuses Kelsey of admitting to having “two boyfriends.” The confrontation escalates quickly, with Rosie screaming, “What have I done to you? You’re literally f–kin’ no one! … You’re not welcome here,” before demanding she “get the f–k out.”
Between the family drama, marital dealbreakers, and savage one-liners, it looks like the Ocean State is about to give the rest of the Housewives franchises a serious run for their money.
