Louis Tomlinson has released ‘Imposter,’ the third single from his upcoming album ‘How Did I Get Here?’
The raw indie-pop track, released today, features a pulsing bassline and dirty guitars as the former One Direction member explores themes of identity and imposter syndrome. A music video starring RTS-winning actor James Nelson-Joyce arrives Tuesday afternoon.
Speaking about the track, the 34-year-old said:
“Imposter was written in the jungle in Costa Rica. Conceptually it leans into the idea of identity. It’s probably the most melodic moment on the record, I’m really excited for the world to finally hear it!”
The song follows previous singles ‘Lemonade’ and ‘Palaces’ from the 12-track project, executive produced by Nico Rebscher.
Tomlinson’s third solo album drops this Friday (January 23) marking his first new music since 2022’s ‘Faith In The Future,’ which hit #1 in the UK.
He’ll perform on ‘The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon’ Thursday, then headline a special show at Racket in New York Friday. An immersive listening experience, ‘How Did I Get Here? The Experience’, takes place Sunday at London’s Outernet.
The album precedes a massive world tour kicking off in March. Check out the itinerary:
