The ongoing Beckham family tension just picked up another voice, with Brooklyn Beckham’s father-in-law stepping in to offer some blunt advice.
Nelson Peltz, the billionaire businessman and father of Nicola Peltz, was asked about the very public fallout during a Q&A session at the WSJ Invest Live event in West Palm Beach, Florida. Rather than fueling the headlines, Peltz made it clear he believes family disputes should stay firmly behind closed doors.
Addressing Brooklyn’s recent decision to air grievances online, Peltz said:
“My advice is to stay the hell out of the press.”
He also attempted to lighten the mood, joking about the intense media scrutiny surrounding both families:
“Has my family been in the press lately? I haven’t noticed at all.”
Peltz went on to emphasize that there is no tension where it matters most, adding that Nicola and Brooklyn are doing well and that he looks forward to them “having a long, happy marriage together.”
The comments come weeks after Brooklyn publicly addressed strained relations with his parents David Beckham and Victoria Beckham, accusing them of being controlling and dishonest in a series of now-expired social media posts.
