Paramount+ has officially announced that ‘Mayor of Kingstown‘ will return for an eighth-episode fifth season, which will also serve as its final chapter.
The gritty drama stars Jeremy Renner as Mike McLusky, the power broker navigating Kingstown’s brutal criminal ecosystem.
The series is co-created by Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon, with the most recent season earning a rare 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes. No small feat!
Season four concluded last December, leaving Mike facing escalating gang warfare and growing threats to those closest to him.
The final season promises to bring those tensions to a head, while also confronting long-running consequences from Mike’s past decisions.
