Prime Video has unveiled the first look at ‘Bait,’ the highly anticipated comedy series starring Riz Ahmed.
The streamer released first-look images and a special preview clip, confirming all six episodes will drop March 25 worldwide.
The Oscar winner stars as Shah Latif, a struggling actor whose final shot at stardom arrives in the form of an audition that could change everything.
In the compelling teaser, Shah finds himself thrust into chaos when tabloids rumor him for the role of James Bond, sparking an intense family reaction and racist backlash. Instead of salvation, the opportunity detonates his carefully constructed life over four increasingly wild days as his family, ex-lover, and the entire world weigh in on whether he’s the right man for the job.
The ensemble cast includes Guz Khan as Zulfi, Sheeba Chaddha as Tahira, Sajid Hasan as Parvez, Aasiya Shah as Q, Weruche Opia as Felicia, and Ritu Arya as Yasmin.
The series premiered at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival ahead of its global streaming debut.
