The tragic story of Caroline Flack is being revisited in a powerful new documentary. Disney+ has unveiled the official trailer for ‘Caroline Flack: Search For The Truth’, a two-part special that examines the final months of the beloved ‘Love Island’ presenter’s life.
Set to premiere on November 10, exclusively on Disney+ in the UK and Ireland, the documentary promises never-before-heard messages from the late star and shocking new revelations about the events leading up to her death.
The series follows Christine, the television personality’s mother, as she investigates the truth about her daughter’s final months. After being arrested in 2019, the British TV host became the target of a relentless media storm and online abuse.
Vilified in the press, her world spiraled, ending in tragedy when she took her own life. The documentary uncovers new details, asks difficult questions, and exposes the misrepresentations, pressures, and failures from institutions that shaped those devastating final days.
Contributors featured alongside the family include friend Mollie Grosberg, former Chief Crown Prosecutor Nazir Afzal, former agent Louisa Booth, solicitor Paul Morris, and showbiz reporter Paul Martin. The second episode delves deeper into the relentless press coverage and online abuse that overwhelmed her, revealing hidden pressures that pushed her to a breaking point.
Executive produced by Dov Freedman, Charlie Russell, and Jessie Versluys for Curious Films, the production company behind 2021’s ‘Caroline Flack: Her Life and Death,’ the documentary features direction by Christian Collerton and production by Sophie Clayton-Payne. Both episodes premiere November 10 on Disney+.
