Sir Michael Caine is dusting off his retirement plans for one last magical ride!
The legendary actor announced his retirement from acting in 2023. He is officially returning to the big screen to reteam with Vin Diesel in ‘The Last Witch Hunter 2.’
Caine played the wise priest Dolan 36th in the 2015 fantasy action flick, serving as a mentor for Diesel’s immortal witch-slayer. Although the first film earned cult status despite low box office numbers, it looks like the sequel has been pushed into motion.
The Last Witch Hunter 2 could be aiming for a bigger, darker, and more explosive story, with Caine reprising his role to guide Diesel’s Kaulder through a new supernatural war.
This marks a surprising – and iconic – return for Caine, who previously declared he was hanging up his acting boots. But hey, if Vin Diesel calls, who can say no?
