The BRIT Awards are lining up a serious career moment for Mark Ronson, with the hitmaking producer set to be honoured on one of the UK’s biggest music stages.
The London-born creative will receive the Outstanding Contribution To Music award at the 2026 ceremony, taking place at Co-op Live in Manchester on Saturday 28 February.
Ronson will be in the building to accept the prize in person, and he’s also confirmed to perform, with the night already shaping up as a big live spectacle.
The wider line-up includes Harry Styles, Olivia Dean and Wolf Alice.
Across two decades, Ronson has helped soundtrack Pop culture, picking up multiple BRITs and Grammys, plus an Academy Award and Golden Globe, while stacking up global smashes and countless multi-platinum moments. He’s also recently stepped into author mode with his memoir ‘Night People’, reflecting on his early years in the 1990s New York club scene.
Reacting to the honour, Ronson said:
“This is the most meaningful honor of my career. I think of the times I’ve watched artists I revere accept this same award. The idea that I’m now standing in that lineage feels impossible. I left England as a kid, but this country runs through everything I’ve made. The UK artists I’ve worked with—their brilliance and refusal to compromise—shaped not just my work but how I understand what music should do. And more than anything, it’s the crowds here who’ve sustained and showed up for me. The fans, the festival crowds, the record buyers and streamers—the love has always been overwhelming. I’m beyond grateful for all of it.”
The ceremony will air on ITV and ITVX and will be hosted by Jack Whitehall.
