Brooklyn Beckham has unleashed an explosive statement against his parents David Beckham and Victoria Beckham, bringing years of family turmoil out of the shadows.

In a shocking series of Instagram Stories posted Monday, the 26-year-old aspiring chef detailed what he describes as a lifetime of control, manipulation, and sabotage at the hands of his famous parents. The statement marks the first time the eldest Beckham child has publicly addressed the longstanding rift that has captivated tabloids and left fans stunned.

The photographer turned chef didn’t hold back, accusing the soccer legend and former Spice Girl of controlling narratives throughout his life. He claims his parents have been relentlessly trying to destroy his marriage to actress Nicola Peltz Beckham since before their April 2022 wedding.

Among the most shocking allegations, Brooklyn claims Victoria hijacked what should have been his first dance with his bride at their Palm Beach ceremony. According to the statement, Marc Anthony called him to the stage, but instead of dancing with Nicola, his mother was waiting for him.

He wrote:

“She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.”

The humiliation ran so deep that Brooklyn and Nicola later renewed their vows privately to, as he put it, create new memories untainted by embarrassment and anxiety.

Brooklyn also claimed that Victoria pulled out of designing Nicola’s wedding dress at the eleventh hour, forcing the bride to scramble for a replacement despite being excited to wear her mother-in-law’s design. He alleges his parents tried to pressure him into signing away the rights to his name weeks before the wedding, stating that his refusal affected their payday and permanently changed how they treated him.

Perhaps most cutting was his accusation that family members told him the night before the wedding that Nicola was “not blood” and “not family.” The son of two global icons went on to claim his brothers were sent to attack him on social media before blocking him last summer.

Brooklyn painted a picture of a family where brand comes before blood, writing:

“My family values public promotion and endorsements above all else. Brand Beckham comes first. Family ‘love’ is decided by how much you post on social media, or how quickly you drop everything to show up and pose for a family photo opp.”

The statement also referenced recent events, claiming that when Nicola asked Victoria to support displaced dogs during the LA fires, she refused.

In what may be his most definitive declaration, Brooklyn made clear there’s no reconciliation on the horizon. He stated he’s spent his entire life controlled by his parents, and only since stepping away has his “overwhelming anxiety” disappeared. Addressing rumors that Nicola controls him, he flipped the narrative entirely, insisting it’s been the opposite all along.
