Savannah Guthrie is making a direct plea to whoever has her mother.
The NBC ‘Today’ show co-anchor posted a video to Instagram Saturday, one week after her 84-year-old mother Nancy Guthrie disappeared from her Tucson, Arizona home.
Joined by her siblings Cameron and Annie, she delivered a message to those believed to be holding her mother captive, making clear the family is willing to negotiate.
“We received your message and we understand. We beg you now to return our mother to us, so that we can celebrate with her. This is the only way we will have peace. This is very valuable to us, and we will pay.”

The plea follows a message sent Friday to Tucson-based television station KOLD, confirmed by Kevin Smith, a spokesperson for the FBI office in Phoenix.
KOLD received an email related to the case via social media, but declined to share details as the FBI reviews it.
The station was one of several news outlets that received alleged ransom letters during the week. The IP addresses of the messages reportedly all stem from the same sender.
Nancy was last seen at her home on the evening of January 31 and was reported missing the next day after failing to show up at church.
Law enforcement officials concluded she was kidnapped, though the Pima County Sheriff’s Department has not identified any suspects or people of interest.
Police are also searching for vehicles potentially connected to the case. A Circle K spokesperson confirmed to NBC News on Friday that officers visited one of their stores “after receiving a tip regarding a vehicle of interest,” with the team providing access to surveillance footage.
