CM Punk is gracing the cover of ‘WWE 2K26’ as “The Best in the World” strikes a defiant pose befitting a Triple Crown Champion.
2K announced today that the current World Heavyweight Champion will headline the Standard Edition of the flagship WWE video game, developed by Visual Concepts. This marks the second time the Chicago native has appeared on a WWE game cover, following ‘WWE ’13’. He’ll also take center stage in the game’s 2K Showcase mode, which chronicles his career.
Speaking on the honor, Punk said:
“As a kid, I could only dream of being on the cover of a video game. Now I join a very exclusive group of WWE Superstars who have done it twice. I enjoyed the experience of narrating the 2K Showcase, which gave me an opportunity to tell fans the straight, unfiltered story of the moments, matches, and controversies in my career.”
The game will be available March 6 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam, with premium editions (King of Kings Edition, Attitude Era Edition, and Monday Night War Edition) launching seven days ahead of the Standard Edition on March 13. The game boasts a franchise-record roster of over 400 playable characters, four new match types including I Quit and Inferno, and upgraded creation features with 200 Create-A-Superstar save slots.
