The Spice Girls brought the girl and nostalgia to timelines this weekend.
Victoria Beckham reunited with her bandmates at Emma Bunton‘s 50th birthday celebration in London on Saturday (January 24), marking a rare public appearance following the recent family drama involving her eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham.
The fashion designer, famously known as Posh Spice, was photographed alongside Geri Halliwell-Horner (Ginger Spice), Melanie “Mel C” Chisholm (Sporty Spice), and Bunton (Baby Spice) in a sweet snap shared on Instagram. Notably absent from the gathering was Melanie “Mel B” Brown (Scary Spice), leaving fans to wonder about the incomplete lineup.
Captioning the photo, Beckham wrote:
“Happy birthday to the most beautiful soul @emmaleebunton. I love you girls so much @gerihalliwellhorner @melaniecmusic xxxxxxx.”
Her husband, David Beckham, chimed in with his own heartfelt response in the comments:
“This made me happy ❤️. I can only imagine how the spice girls fans feel 😍 @spicegirls 😍 @victoriabeckham special night celebrating Emma @emmaleebunton x.”
Bunton, who celebrated her milestone birthday on January 21, also shared her appreciation, commenting, “Love you all so much ❤️.”
The joyful reunion comes just days after Brooklyn Beckham, 26, issued a scathing public statement about his relationship with his parents. In a bombshell Instagram post last week, the aspiring chef declared he does not want to reconcile with his family, accusing them of controlling media narratives and attempting to sabotage his marriage to Nicola Peltz, 31.
Despite the ongoing turmoil, the designer appears to be leaning on her longtime friends for support.
