Hilary Duff is giving fans another taste of her musical comeback.
The multi-platinum Pop darling has released ‘Roommates,’ the second single from her highly anticipated album ‘luck… or something,’ which arrives February 20.
Co-written by Duff with her husband, GRAMMY-winning producer Matthew Koma, and Brian Phillips, the track is accompanied by an official music video directed by Matty Peacock.
Speaking on the song’s inspiration, Duff said:
“Roommates is a song about when life is life-ing, babe. It’s that ache for a wilder, freer time – before the days were swallowed by carpools, budget talks, grocery runs and letting old or new insecurities slip in. It’s the restless hum of wanting to find your way back – to your rhythm, to your person, to yourself.”
The release arrives ahead of the actress-singer’s highly anticipated “Small Rooms, Big Nerves” tour, which kicks off January 19 at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire.
The instantly sold-out run, powered by Live Nation, marks her first headline concerts in over a decade and includes stops in Toronto (January 24), New York City (January 27), and Los Angeles (January 29). She’ll also perform two sold-out residencies at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas in February and May.
The album also features lead single ‘Mature.’
