Awards season momentum is building, and the race for British film’s biggest honours is officially on. The nominations for the BAFTA Film Awards have landed, spotlighting the movies and performances that defined the last year on the big screen.
Leading the charge is One Battle After Another, which emerges as the most-nominated film of the year, closely followed by vampire thriller Sinners. Period drama Hamnet and table tennis tale Marty Supreme also put in strong showings, cementing themselves as key players ahead of the ceremony at London’s Royal Festival Hall on Sunday, February 22.
