Prime Video is leaning fully into obsession, secrecy, and danger with its upcoming erotic thriller ’56 Days’, a story that wastes no time pulling viewers into its dark emotional web.
The newly released trailer teases a relationship that burns fast and spirals even faster, with consequences that are anything but romantic.
At the center of the series are Dove Cameron and Avan Jogia, playing Ciara Wyse and Oliver Kennedy, two strangers whose chance supermarket meeting turns into an intense, reckless affair. Fifty-six days later, police step into Oliver’s apartment and find a body, brutally murdered and left to decompose. From there, the story fractures between the present-day investigation and the couple’s increasingly unsettling past.
The series also stars Karla Souza and Dorian Missick, rounding out a cast that grounds the glossy thriller in emotional weight.
Based on Catherine Ryan Howard’s best-selling novel, the eight-episode adaptation promises sharp twists, shifting perspectives, and a steady sense that nothing is quite what it seems.
All episodes of ’56 Days’ drop February 18 on Prime Video.
