Sharing a screenshot of a Daily Mail article, the London native wrote:
“NOT TRUE. My mum and dad would never unfollow their son. Let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked… as did I.”
The post immediately reframed the narrative, suggesting that the family’s Instagram disconnect stemmed from blocking rather than unfollowing. Instagram does not notify users when they are blocked, though the action automatically removes both parties from each other’s follower lists.
