The first teaser trailer for ‘Nuremberg’ has landed—and it’s already making waves. In just forty seconds, viewers get their first glimpse of Russell Crowe as Nazi leader Hermann Göring in what promises to be a chilling, psychologically charged performance.
A Sky Original movie, the historical thriller follows the real-life aftermath of World War II, focusing on the infamous Nuremberg Trials. Rami Malek stars as U.S. Army psychiatrist Douglas Kelley, assigned to assess the mental fitness of captured Nazi leaders. But what begins as a clinical task turns into a gripping mental chess match between Kelley and Göring.
Directed and written by James Vanderbilt, ‘Nuremberg’ boasts a stacked ensemble: Michael Shannon, Richard E. Grant, Leo Woodall, John Slattery, Colin Hanks, Lydia Peckham, Wrenn Schmidt, and more.
Inspired by the book ‘The Nazi and the Psychiatrist’ by Jack El-Hai, the film explores the unsettling question of what drives evil, as well as what happens when those tasked with holding it accountable find themselves caught in its psychological grip.
Dark, riveting, and not to be missed, ‘Nuremberg’ hits UK cinemas on November 14. It will arrive on Sky Cinema in January 2026.
Sky’s Head of Original Film Andrew Orr said of the film:
“’Nuremberg’ stands as a bold and important project from acclaimed filmmaker James Vanderbilt. We’re proud to present it to UK audiences as a Sky Original: with its stellar cast and timely subject matter, this film represents the kind of ambitious storytelling we’re committed to championing at Sky.”
