Former Vice President Kamala Harris is set to publish a new memoir titled ‘107 Days.’ offering a behind-the-scenes look at her historic—and brief—2024 presidential campaign.
The book arrives on September 23, under Simon & Schuster’s flagship imprint.
The title reflects the length of Harris’s campaign—from launching in July 2024 after Joe Biden suspended his re-election bid, to withdrawing in October. Her candidacy marked major milestones: she became the first woman, first Black woman, and first Asian American to serve as a major party’s presidential nominee.
In the announcement, Harris shared that she’s spent significant time reflecting on her short-lived run and hopes to offer insight into what she witnessed, learned, and how the experience shaped her thinking on leadership and progress. The memoir promises intensity and introspection, as well as a personal glimpse into the pressures of campaigning at a pivotal political moment.

News of ‘107 Days’ comes as Harris confirmed she will not run for California governor in 2026.
This marks her second book, following her 2019 memoir ‘The Truths We Hold: An American Journey.’
With one of the most closely watched primaries in recent history behind her, ‘107 Days’ looks poised to be a page-turner.
