Logan Paul just publicly broke ranks with his brother over the Super Bowl Halftime Show.
After Jake Paul called for a boycott of Bad Bunny‘s performance, accusing him of being anti-American and urging viewers to turn off the halftime show entirely, Logan took to Twitter to distance himself from the stance. His response was direct and firm:
“I love my brother but I don’t agree with this Puerto Ricans are Americans & I’m happy they were given the opportunity to showcase the talent that comes from the island”
The statement immediately reframed the conversation. While Jake had pushed for a coordinated blackout and questioned the Puerto Rican superstar’s citizenship while tying the performance to political issues, Logan rejected that premise outright, emphasizing inclusion over outrage.
Jake’s original post read:
“Purposefully turning off the halftime show Let’s rally together and show big corporations they can’t just do whatever they want without consequences (which equals viewership for them) You are their benefit. Realize you have power. Turn off this halftime. A fake American citizen performing who publicly hates America. I cannot support that.”
Logan’s public disagreement stood out to many because it functioned as a rare public division between the brothers.
Needless to say, it adds to a growing discourse about Bad Bunny’s performance and the socio-political climate even more.
