LISA isn’t slowing down her Hollywood takeover anytime soon.
Fresh off her acting debut in HBO’s ‘The White Lotus,’ the BLACKPINK star is already lining up her next project: a Netflix rom-com.
According to Deadline, the Thai superstar bonded with ‘The White Lotus’ executive producer David Bernad over their shared love of the classic rom-com ‘Notting Hill,’ and the two reportedly teamed up to develop the premise for this new streaming film.
Details on the plot are still under wraps, but the creative team behind it is stacked. Comedy heavyweight Katie Silberman, the writer behind ‘Booksmart’ and ‘Set It Up,’ is penning the script. Not bad for someone who only made her acting debut last year.
The 27-year-old’s schedule isn’t letting up either. She’s also set to appear in ‘Tygo,’ a spin-off tied to the ‘Extraction’ universe. At this rate, K-pop isn’t just crossing over into Hollywood, it’s taking over.
