The Golden Raspberry Awards, more commonly known as the Razzies, have unveiled their 46th annual nominations, and Disney’s live-action ‘Snow White’ and Ice Cube‘s ‘War of the Worlds’ are leading the pack.
Both critically panned projects top the tally with six nods each.
The parody awards show, which recognizes what voters deem the year’s worst films, announced its nominations Monday. Alongside the two frontrunners, ‘The Electric State,’ ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow,’ and ‘Star Trek: Section 31’ rounded out the Worst Picture category.
In the acting categories, The Weeknd (real name Abel Tesfaye) earned a Worst Actor nomination for playing a fictionalized version of himself in ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow,’ which scored five total nods. He’ll compete against Dave Bautista, Ice Cube, Scott Eastwood, and Jared Leto for the dishonor.
The Worst Actress field features Ariana DeBose, Milla Jovovich, Natalie Portman, Rebel Wilson, and Michelle Yeoh.
In a particularly pointed category, Worst Screen Combo includes all seven dwarfs from ‘Snow White,’ James Corden and Rihanna in ‘Smurfs,’ Ice Cube and his Zoom camera in ‘War of the Worlds,’ Robert De Niro playing dual roles in ‘The Alto Knights,’ and The Weeknd paired with “his colossal ego” in ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow.’
The 46th annual Razzie winners will be announced March 14, one day before the Oscars.
