The acclaimed actress has revealed that she has relapsed after nearly a decade of sobriety.
The 46-year-old star took to X on Friday night (January 24) to share the news with her followers. In a brief but candid post, she wrote:
“Took my relapse public more to come.”
Since then, the ‘Orange is the New Black’ star has been engaging with people online, offering words of encouragement and solidarity to others navigating similar battles. Her messages have been raw, honest, and filled with compassion.

Lyonne, who has been open about quitting alcohol in 2006, is currently working on ‘Bambo,’ an upcoming film about Sophie “Bambo” Braverman. The project appears to be a source of motivation for her during this challenging time.
