With ‘Stranger Things’ officially wrapped, Finn Wolfhard is starting to shape what life after Hawkins actually looks like, and music is sounding like the priority.
In a new interview with Esquire, the 23-year-old reflected on growing up inside one of streaming’s biggest juggernauts and admitted he’s keeping acting opportunities selective. If it’s not something he’s genuinely in love with, he’s happy to focus elsewhere.
That “elsewhere” includes touring with his band and recording more material he’s written over the last couple of years, as he looks to build a creative lane that isn’t tied to one defining role.
Speaking about what’s next, Wolfhard said:
“I definitely want to pursue and keep on acting but only if it’s something that I’m really in love with. I’m probably going to tour a little bit with my band next year and put out another album.”
For fans who’ve watched him evolve from child star to full-blown creative, it looks like a purposeful pivot and a fresh start on his own terms.
We love to see (and hear) it!
