The next ‘Tomb Raider’ has officially been crowned – and it’s none other than Sophie Turner.
The ‘Game of Thrones’ alum has stepped into the iconic role of Lara Croft for an upcoming live-action series. If that wasn’t enough star power, the project is being spearheaded by Phoebe Waller-Bridge (‘Fleabag’), who will serve as creator, writer, executive producer, and co-showrunner.

The series is being developed for Prime Video, and it promises a fresh new story of Croft’s adventures. It blends Waller-Bridge’s sharp storytelling with Turner’s action chops.

Fans have already taken to social media to debate Turner’s casting – with some praising her as a perfect fit and others eager to see how she brings her own spin to a character previously embodied by Angelina Jolie and Alicia Vikander.
