The first trailer for ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ has officially landed, and Tom Holland is back in the webs with a fresh look, some new allies, and at least one very welcome reunion.
The Disney and Sony co-production is the fourth solo Spidey entry in the MCU, and Holland’s first outing as the wall-crawler since 2021’s blockbuster ‘No Way Home,’ which grossed over $1.9 billion worldwide. That film ended on a gut-punch of a note: Peter Parker wiped himself from the memories of everyone he loved, including girlfriend MJ (Zendaya) and best friend Ned (Jacob Batalon), to seal a multiverse-threatening spell gone sideways. ‘Brand New Day’ picks up from that sacrifice, with a newly anonymous Peter suiting up in a comic-accurate red-and-blue and, notably, shooting organic webs.
The cast additions are exciting on their own. Mark Ruffalo returns as Bruce Banner, while Jon Bernthal joins the fold as the Punisher. Michael Mando reprises Scorpion from ‘Homecoming,’ with newcomers Sadie Sink, Tramell Tillman, Liza Colon-Zayas, and Marvin Jones II as Tombstone rounding out the ensemble.
