Fresh off his performance at the 68th annual Grammy Awards, SOMBR just dropped a new single and music video.
‘Homewrecker,‘ his first release since last year’s chart-topping debut album ‘I Barely Know Her,’ arrived today via Warner Records.
The Grammy-nominated artist wrote and co-produced the track, staying true to the creative control he’s maintained throughout his career.
Directed by Gus Black (Phoebe Bridgers, Laufey), the visual stars Quenlin Blackwell and Milo Manheim. Set on a Western film shoot with Manheim playing a short-tempered director, tensions rise between SOMBR and Blackwell as the lines between pretend and reality blur, leading to a high-noon-style showdown.
The New York native is riding serious momentum.
He’s currently nominated for two BRIT Awards (International Artist of the Year and International Song of the Year for ‘undressed’), while ‘back to friends’ holds the number one spot at Top 40 Radio.
After sold-out tours across North America and Australia/New Zealand, he’s heading to the UK and Europe next week before hitting Coachella.
