Grammy-nominated girl group KATSEYE just made their late-night television debut, and they came bearing gifts.
The six-piece appeared on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,’ fresh off their first-ever Grammy Awards experience both as nominees and performers.
Members Sophia Laforteza, Lara Raj, Daniela Avanzini, Yoonchae Jeung, Megan Skiendiel, and Manon Bannerman gushed about meeting idols like Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, Rosé, and Miley Cyrus at the ceremony.
They also reflected on a heartfelt moment with Spice Girls’ Melanie C during their UK tour, where she gave them big-sister advice. “She was the only person that could really understand,” Raj said.
The group behind hits like ‘Gnarly’ and ‘Internet Girl’ teased new music on the way, describing it as “energetic” and “fierce.” Skiendiel added, “We don’t have a date yet, but stay tuned.”
They also dove into their upcoming Super Bowl commercial with State Farm, which features them performing a modern take on Bon Jovi’s ‘Livin’ On A Prayer’ alongside Hailee Steinfeld, Danny McBride, and Keegan-Michael Key. Raj joked that her dad is finally proud of her. The segment ended with a surprise cameo from Jake from State Farm, prompting the group to spontaneously perform the commercial’s choreography live.
