Social media star Desmond Scott has broken his silence following the news that his wife, Kristy Scott, filed for divorce late last year.

The influencer took to Instagram on Saturday (January 10) to address the split, offering apologies while acknowledging his role in the breakdown of their marriage.

In a lengthy Instagram story, the content creator expressed remorse to Kristy, his family, and supporters affected by the public nature of their separation. He revealed that he and Kristy experienced significant challenges throughout 2025, which ultimately led him to request a separation toward the end of the year.

While stopping short of directly addressing Kristy’s infidelity allegations, Scott admitted to poor judgment during their separation. According to Scott:

“I made choices that I am not proud of.”

The influencer explained that he took accountability for his actions and was honest with Kristy about what transpired, leading to their mutual decision to divorce.
