Kendall Jenner is setting the record straight. Literally.
The model has cleared the air on longstanding speculation about her sexuality. The model opened up about rumors she’s secretly gay during a candid conversation on Owen Thiele‘s ‘In Your Dreams’ podcast.
The 30-year-old confirmed she is not part of the LGBTQIA+ community but emphasized she’d have no issue being open about it if she were. Speaking on the persistent internet chatter, Jenner said:
“There’s the whole side of the internet that thinks I’m a lesbian. I understand that coming out is not an easy thing for anybody, if not most people. And I’m not saying that’s an easy thing, but knowing, and I can speak for myself here, and knowing myself, I think at this point in my life I’d be out if I was.”
The ‘Kardashians’ star expressed frustration with how the rumors are presented online, noting they’re often framed meanly rather than supportively. She pushed back against suggestions that being gay would be “bad for business,” calling the notion confusing.
Jenner believes the speculation stems from her private approach to dating, unlike her sisters, who are more public with their relationships. She added:
“All’s to say, as of today, I am not [gay]. I don’t think I will be, but I’m not closing doors to experiences in life.”
Jenner has previously dated Harry Styles, Nick Jonas, Blake Griffin, Ben Simmons, Devin Booker, and, more recently, Bad Bunny.
