Brooklyn Beckham has reportedly taken a dramatic step in his ongoing family rift, issuing a legal notice to parents David Beckham and Victoria Beckham, requesting that any contact go through lawyers only.
According to The Sun, the letter also asked the couple not to tag their eldest son on social media. The move is said to have come after months of frustration from Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, who reportedly wanted any reconciliation to happen privately rather than online.
The legal request is understood to explain why Brooklyn later blocked his parents on social media, following Victoria liking a cooking video he had shared. While that moment appeared minor on the surface, sources claim it was viewed as another breach of his wishes.
Despite the tension, Brooklyn is said to remain in contact with his grandparents and wider family, keeping those relationships intact. David and Victoria, meanwhile, are described as devastated and confused by the situation, maintaining that their door remains open should their son want to reconnect away from the public eye.
As of writing, representatives for both sides have declined to comment.
