Lionsgate has dropped the official trailer for ‘The Long Walk,’ giving fans a first glimpse at the intense thriller ahead of its theatrical release on September 12.
Directed by Francis Lawrence, the filmmaker behind several ‘Hunger Games’ films, the adaptation is based on Stephen King’s novel and explores a dystopian nightmare where 100 teenage boys are forced into a deadly walking competition.
Stop for too long, and you’re eliminated – permanently. Yikes, right? The film poses a chilling question: how far could you go?
The trailer teases the psychological and physical toll of the high-stakes game, highlighting moments of camaraderie, desperation, and looming danger. With a tense score and haunting visuals, it sets the stage for a gut-punch of a survival story.
‘The Long Walk’ features a cast led by Cooper Hoffman, David Jonsson, Ben Wang, Charlie Plummer, Roman Griffin Davis, Judy Greer, and Mark Hamill. The screenplay is by JT Mollner, and the film is produced by Roy Lee, Steven Schneider, Francis Lawrence, and Cameron MacConomy.
