Cole Walliser is clearing the air after a Jennifer Lopez Golden Globes GlamBOT moment sent the internet into full “mean celeb” meltdown.
In a new TikTok video, the reneowed GlamBOT operator addressed the chatter head-on, reminding viewers that the slow-motion shoot is totally optional and that red carpets are basically controlled chaos.
According to Cole, stars are being pulled in a dozen directions, getting shouted at from every angle, and often just trying to hit their marks and keep it moving.
Backing that up, PEOPLE reports Cole’s take on J.Lo’s now-viral clip was simple: it was business, not attitude.
Speaking on the backlash, Cole said:
“I didn’t take it personally. It didn’t feel rude in that moment.”
