Chris Noth has opened up about the lasting fallout from sexual assault allegations made against him, revealing that his longtime friendship with Sarah Jessica Parker has effectively ended.
Speaking on the Really Famous With Kara Mayer Robinson podcast, the actor reflected on the joint statement Parker released in 2021 alongside her ‘Sex and the City’ co-stars, saying the response felt impersonal and damaging to their relationship.
Noth said:
“We’re not friends. I think that’s pretty obvious. The statement that they put out was sad and disappointing. You need to call me and hear my side of this. You’ve known me for many years.”
The allegations, which Noth has repeatedly denied (and, as of writing, have not yielded any legal cases), led to him being dropped from projects including The Equalizer and written out of ‘And Just Like That.’
He described the public response as overwhelming and said the experience clarified who truly stood by him.
As of now, Parker has not publicly responded to Noth’s latest comments.
