The new year is about to hit a little harder for fans of Nick Jonas. As 2026 approaches, the singer is setting the tone with a release that signals both vulnerability and creative rebirth, offering the first taste of what he’s been quietly building toward.

The 33-year-old will kick off the year with ‘Gut Punch’, his long-awaited new solo single arriving January 1. The track serves as the opening chapter of his forthcoming album ‘Sunday Best’ due out February 6 via Republic Records.

The project marks his first solo body of work in nearly five years and is already being positioned as one of his most personal statements to date.
