The queen of SUR is ready to serve up a fresh batch of drama. Lisa Vanderpump is buzzing about the upcoming ‘Vanderpump Rules’ reboot, and she’s promising viewers the new cast is everything fans could want: young, wild, and just the right amount of messy.
After Scandoval dominated headlines and essentially ended the original show’s run, the restaurateur is confident lightning will strike twice when the revamped series premieres on December 2.
TMZ caught up with the reality veteran outside Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills, and there she addressed whether the new crew would avoid the mistakes of their predecessors, specifically the infamous Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix cheating scandal that became a cultural moment.
The British entrepreneur also brushed off concerns that reboots rarely work, insisting the show is already getting a positive reception and the cast is ready to deliver. When asked what sets this group apart, she couldn’t hide her excitement, describing them as fresh, wild, and naughty. In other words, exactly what Reality TV thrives on.
As many know, the original ‘Vanderpump Rules’ became a Bravo phenomenon, launching careers and giving viewers countless water-cooler moments over its run.
