Prince Harry has reportedly won a major step forward in his long-running fight over security in the UK.
New reports claim the Duke of Sussex is now set to regain automatic armed police protection when visiting Britain with his family, following a fresh risk assessment.
The development is said to come after Harry wrote to Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood in September, raising renewed concerns after an alleged stalker was able to get within close range during a visit to London.
Under current guidelines, he has had to notify the Metropolitan Police 30 days ahead of arriving in the UK and request a security review on a case-by-case basis. He and his legal team have argued that the arrangement makes it difficult for him, Meghan Markle, and their children, Archie and Lilibet, to visit safely.
As of writing, there has been no public confirmation from the Home Office or Ravec.
